Lil Pump (born August 17, 2000) is a young superstar who has taken the hip-hop world by storm with his vibrant dreadlocks, numerous tattoos covering his entire body, and charismatic, unique rap style. His total number of views (streaming and music video views combined) to date exceeds 2 billion, and his breakthrough single "Gucci Gang" topped the US and European charts, reached number two on the Spotify chart, and number 12 on the Global chart, earning him four platinum disc certifications. His music video has already surpassed 857 million views. His follow-up single, "Esquetit," also garnered 364 million music video views. The music video for his collaboration with Kanye West, "I Love It," currently has over 392 million views, and surpassed 76 million views in the first week after its release, making it the hip-hop video with the biggest debut on YouTube in 2018. Upon the release of the "I Love It" music video, directed by Kanye West and produced by Spike Jonze, the #ILoveItChallenge exploded on social media and became a viral phenomenon worldwide, even being featured prominently on American TV hosts Ellen DeGeneres and James Gordon.
